Nintendo DSi Pink

News Flash: Get the Pink Nintendo DSi NOW from Amazon

dsi_pinkThe Nintendo DSi console currently only comes in black and white, though in the future they will be introducing them in pink, blue and green.  They’ll be introducing the colours in Japan first, and probably next in the States before coming over to the UK and Europe.

Personally, I can’t wait for these other colours to come out as they’ll make the console so much more exciting and appealing to own.  It is great to see Nintendo offer colours, other than ’safe’ ones like black and white.  The DSi Pink will no doubt be the must have Christmas present for all girly gamers.

The Pink Nintendo DSi was launched in Japan on March 20th, hopefully they’ll have these colours ready for Christmas, but who knows?

I’ve found a photo of what Nintedo’s DSi Pink should look like and it looks great doesn’t it?  If you compare it to the previous, DS Lite Pink, then this shade of pink is much darker and richer but I actually prefer it.  The Pink DSi is bound to be the most popular colour when it arrives so I would expect it to sell out quickly when it finally arrives in the UK!  Nintendo, as of yet, have not given an official release date for them in Europe so if you’re after a DSi console I wouldn’t necessarily wait around for one.

The Nintendo DSi Pink works in the same way as the other colours in the Nintendo DSi range as the specification is the same.  The new DSi Consoles have two built in cameras, which have been nicknamed the eyes along with having ears, in the form of the microphone.  The DSi comes with some fun little features, such as different camera modes so that you can play around with the photos you’ve taken, along with personalising them.  The microphone allows you to play around with the DJ tool.  The DJ tool allows you to record 18 ten second sound clips which you can use your DJ tools to change the clip’s octaves and pitch along with adding different sound effects.
