DSiWare Shop
The DSiWare shop is where owners of the DSi can buy new games and applications. These games can be downloaded directly onto the DSi via wi-fi. The DSiWare store went live on the 5th April 2009. This is where you can personalise your DSi by downloading content onto the DSi’s 256MB of internal storage or onto an external SD card.
How to pay?
To pay for the goods on the DSiWare stop you can swap your money for points. It is presumed these points will have the same value as for the Wii Virtual Console, where 2000 points is worth £15. You can purchase these points in shops.
What will there be?
The DSiWare shop will have downloadable games and applications. These will vary from being free to up to 2000 points. There will be a free Opera based internet browser avaliable for instant download.
1000 Free DSiWare Points
Those people who connect to the DSIware shop via the DSi before 31st March 2010 will be given 1000 free points to spend on games and applications. This is a nice incentive to buy one sooner rather than later!
